Welcome to Fluvaro Guide. By accessing or using our application, you agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

1. Service Description

Fluvaro Guide is a progressive web application (PWA) that aggregates and presents fishing data for Quebec, including:

• Real-time river flow rates
• Tide predictions
• Solunar data (sun, moon, lunar phases)
• Daily river access (fishing permits sold)
• Fishing organization information

2. Data Accuracy

Some data comes from third-party public sources:

• CEHQ (Centre d'expertise hydrique du Québec) — river flow data
• Manisoft — daily access data

Other data is calculated by Fluvaro using mathematical algorithms:

• Tide predictions — harmonic algorithms
• Solunar data (sun, moon, lunar phases) — astronomical algorithms

Fluvaro does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or availability of the data. Data is provided for informational purposes only. Do not rely solely on this data for safety-related decisions. Always consult official sources and use your own judgment.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity conducted under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Fluvaro offers Pro subscription plans (monthly and annual) via Stripe. By subscribing:

• You authorize recurring billing based on your chosen plan
• You can cancel at any time through your account panel — Pro access remains active until the end of the current billing period
• Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis — contact us at info@fluvaroguide.com

5. Intellectual Property

The source code, design, and original content of Fluvaro Guide are the property of Fluvaro Guide. Some of the data displayed comes from public sources and remains the property of their respective organizations (CEHQ, Manisoft).

You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit the content of the application without prior written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

Fluvaro Guide is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

In no event shall Fluvaro Guide be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service.

7. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be indicated by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after modification constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and applicable federal laws of Canada. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec.
